Offshore Visa Processing Suspended

 In Uncategorised

From 10 August 2020 – people from outside New Zealand will not be able to apply for temporary visas for a period of three months. This means Immigration New Zealand will not be processing most off-shore visa applications until 10 November 2020.

This is due to the fact that offshore visa applicants will not be able to meet strict border exemptions and enter the country

The following off-shore applications will continue to be processed.

  • relationship-based visas for partners and dependent children of New Zealand citizens and residents
  • visas for diplomatic, consular and official staff and accompanying dependants
  • Antarctic Traveller Visitor visas and Antarctic Work visas
  • Recognised Seasonal Employer (RSE) Limited visas.

If you have already submitted a temporary visa application and you are overseas, you can withdraw your application and request a refund.

If any issues arise, please contact Idesi Legal Limited.
